With a huge range of waterski products for the Water Skier, Wakeboarder, Wakeskater, Kneeboarder, Jet Skier & Tube Riders, they have everything for the waterskiing first timer to the wakeboarding professional.

Technology Used:
  • Valid XHTML / CSS
    This was a must if I was going to get tableless CSS working correctly.
  • Drupal
    As far as content management systems go, there's not much out there better than Drupal.
  • CakePHP
    I could have made that application forms in Drupal, but I decided to use CakePHP due to the ease of building forms, the advanced concepts of form validation and the ability to easily access data.

Carbatec offers Australia's largest range of tools for wood.

Purpose:

  • Extending current application to support multiple stores.
  • Each store has price, discount, tax and availibility overrides for products.
  • Each store has content page overrides.
Objectives:
  • Multiple store ecommerce:
    • Each store has price, discount, tax and availibility overrides for products.
    • Each store has content page overrides.
  • Advanced category and item management:
    • Custom management pages to manage thousands of items.
    • Extended items by adding video, printable pdfs and more
    • Product importin and exporting.
    • Bulk product upload from test environment to live environment.
Technology Used:
  • ZenCart
    The starting platform was zencart which was chosen due to its ability to be extended easily.

Abduction X

Abduction X is Sydneys first and only TRUE Metal, Industrial, Cyberpunk, Hardcore and Alternative nightclub.

Purpose:

  • Simple to use content management system.
  • Expand the types of content to be managed with ease.
  • Initially listing Events, Image Galleries, Performers and Sponsors.
  • Events needed to automatically link to Sponsors. 

Onsite Direct Global

Onsite Direct Global specialises in sourcing and providing well-researched residential properties to the global market.

Pixlart invited me to participate in a Real Estate Investment Sales and Tracking System for Onsite Direct Global. The application front end would be entirely Macromedia Flash and PHP would be used to transfer the data to and from a MySQL database.

Objectives:
  • Management of developments, properties and users.
  • Searchable index of all properties for agents to browse.
  • Checkout and payment gateway for agents to collect a deposit from buyer.
  • Property tracking, including distribution of documents throughout the entire property settlement process.
Development Roles:
  • Bill @ Pixlart (project owner)
    did an extraordinary job of simplifying a complex and
    feature righ application interface into a simple and very useable
    interface. They handled all of the consultation with the client and
    produced all of the specification requirements.
  • Brett @ Mr PHP
    implemented interaction with flash client, database planning, data planning, authentication, server side data validation and data security.
  • Filippo @ Pippo Flash
    pulled all of the design elements, design logic, data collection, client side validation and data output into a fantastic flash application. It is robust and easily maintainable.

  • BDM
    Can manage their child referrer users aswell as being able to do all tasks that a referrer can do.
  • Developer
    Can view the property tracking assigned to their own developments.
  • Administrator
    Manages all properties and users
